Vanta ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our iOS application.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information necessary to provide our service:
Device Identifier: We use your device's vendor identifier (identifierForVendor) for authentication. This is a unique ID tied to your device and is not shared with third parties.
Photos You Upload: When you create a character, you upload reference photos. These photos are sent to our server for AI processing and are stored temporarily to enable scene generation.
Generated Images: Thumbnails of generated scenes are stored on our server. Full resolution images are cached temporarily and then removed.
Purchase Information: If you make in app purchases, Apple provides us with a transaction receipt for verification. We do not have access to your payment details.

AI Processing
Your reference photos and scene descriptions are sent to Google Gemini AI for image generation. Google's AI processes these inputs to create your scenes. We recommend reviewing Google's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle data.
Data Storage and Security
Reference photos are stored securely on our server and associated with your device identifier
Generated image thumbnails are stored in our database
Full resolution images are temporarily cached on the server (up to 10 minutes) and are not permanently stored
We use industry standard security measures to protect your data
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account at any time through the Settings screen in the app. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed, including:
Your user profile and credit balance
All characters and reference photos
All generated image thumbnails
Purchase history and transaction records
Third Party Services
Google Gemini AI: Used for AI image generation
Apple In App Purchases: Used for credit pack purchases
Children's Privacy
Vanta is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
